We here at Trance central respect that your pointer finger often does unexpected things. This is the internet after all, and it is full of temptations. However, that little digit is still connected to your hand, and thusly TO YOUR BRAIN. We will not hold your hand, and we will not coddle your sensitive minds. It is our goal to communicate a story that includes fun and joyful moments, and depths of anguish and suffering, just like real life. But don't worry, real life is complicated, we'll break it down for you.
That being said, we would like to impress upon you that you WILL FIND THE FOLLOWING WITHIN THIS COMIC SERIES
#1. VIOLENCE
Yes, violence. Blood, gore, dismembered limbs, all of it. You can bet that I am not going to with-hold the very real horrors of war the way daytime television
and loony toons does. These are not cartoon anvils. These are real anvils. Expect to see at the least, a realistic detailing of injury and at the most, the soft and squishy
parts of our equally soft and fuzzy friends. These things happen. If you are not comfortable with this, please turn around immediately and do not continue reading.
#2. LANGUAGE
Expect to hear colorful cussing, immature insults, ridiculous rambling and racial slurs relative to the various races. No, we will not drop the "N" bomb, but you can expect
to hear the characters express their feelings without reservation. This may or may not include references to your mother.
#3. SEXUALITY & NUDITY
Are you over 18? Well if you click on any ADULT MARKED link or image, then you'd better be. Or an appropriate legal age in your country. We are not responsible for your tears
of dismay if you see gay sex or bare breasts and go crying to your parents. And if you're over 18, you really shouldn't be crying to your parents anyway. That's embarrassing.
All NSFW imagery, comic pages, or literature will always be marked as such. Pay attention.
This comic will include very obvious and full on nudity. Atelerix are humanoid in appearance and have very similar equipment for the most part. They are fuzzy, but when they take their clothing off, they are still very naked. The other aliens are built accordingly but nonetheless you will see junk within these pages. Sexual activity will also be very much present. These characters build relationships, "scratch itches" and perform other natural sexual acts as per their whims. Imagery and literature of this nature will not be censored, but will be marked accordingly and although it will be part of story canon, you will not be forced to view it if you do not wish to. In fact, PLEASE do NOT view it if you do not wish to. Not even if you're curious. Additionally, we do not permit outside links that lead directly to any adult material, or distribution of said adult material by any reader to any underage individual. Don't do it.
#4. RACIAL TENSION
Some minds out there may realize that situations between the Solari and Kurai in particular (or other races) have some parallels within human history and psyche. Please do
remember that the Solari are not Nazis, nor are Kurai "black" despite a common nickname of "dark" being applied to them by other races. Any human references are loosely applied
and chosen pretty much for atmosphere and to instill a frame of reference for your mind. Any other conclusions you might draw are your own responsibility.
#5. NON-CONSENSUAL THEMES
Rape is a horrific and terrible act. It has consequences that affect human beings of all genders, all sexes, and all ages in extremely negative ways. We do not condone the
act of rape, however, there will be mention of its occurrence within the story canon. Wherever it is mentioned, or illustrated (non-graphically) in any way, it is not with
the intention of arousing or promoting the act to the viewer. The same can be said about pedophilia. This will absolutely NOT be illustrated in any sexual manner, although
the topic does arise. Just saying.
#6. FUR
Atelerix, Hystrix, and the other races are not furries. They are anthropomorphic (possessing some zoo features on a primarily human frame), including some animalistic
body parts and a generally thin coating of fur or fluff. Aside from the necessity of being sheathed for protection, male genitalia is entirely human in appearance.
As is the female equivalent. They do not, however have permanent muzzles, nor digitigrade limbs or "paws". Although it is very difficult to decide
where to draw this line, and many will undoubtedly attempt to argue otherwise,these are our creations, and in the end, it is our choice how to define our own work.
Possible exceptions include shape-shifters mid-transformation and the chyroptix. You can draw whatever assumptions you want about them.
IN CONCLUSION
We will greet any civil and fair-minded inquiry with equal civility. We are both intelligent beings and will respond to your well-put concerns if you have them. Flames,
rudeness, or other internet retardery, however, will most likely be ignored, or at worst, laughed at and then deleted. Do not expect attention. Do not expect anything to change.
Our days will not be ruined, and we will not cry or delete the comic. You have been duly and extensively warned, now, decide for yourself what you are comfortable viewing.
